Hi, I'm Fake System

I'm a recovered DID faker sharing my story so others can learn though my experiences

About

DISCLAIMER: I do not condone the targeting, harassment, or fakeclaiming of self-proclaimed systems or persons claiming to have DID. My content is not a call to action. Please do not use my content to justify the targeting of other people, especially minors.

Now, some things about me:
I am a white person in my mid/late 20s who is genderqueer (they/he/she are all fine with me) and the proud holder of a master's degree in psychologyI did all my faking on Tumblr back around 2013 and ended around 2015/2016 - the most active blogs I ran were troubleshots, lovesick-sagittarius, straight-0n-til-morning, and riotpop - I will not be disclosing the urls of blogs who did this with me because their story is not mine to tellI faked DID because I wanted community and validation, as well as attention and dramaI believe DID is a real condition, but I also believe it does not present the way people online portray it, and that it is rare and very poorly understood, which is why so many people choose to fake itI do not have the ability or desire to diagnose any person or system on any platform, and it is not my place to comment on whether or not I think specific systems/individuals are faking or not
Consider not interacting if you:
Believe my content is offensive/problematic/harmful/ableist - I am here to tell a story that needs to be told and I will not hold myself back because it makes you personally uncomfortableAdvocate against seeking professional diagnosis for DID, or believe a self-diagnosis is as legitimate as one from a trained psychiatrist - you do not know more than a doctorUse your identity status to avoid accepting accountability for your beliefs/opinions/actionsPromote or personally use nounself, it/its, or emoji pronouns - gender is not a noun or an aesthetic and the promotion of it/its for trans people normalizes and encourages their use by people wishing to do trans people harm - nounself and emoji pronouns also perpetuate the stereotype of nonbinary people as delusional weirdos who can't separate delusion from identity

Places You Can Find Me

At the time of this writing, I am only active on TikTok but I have some other profiles created in case I ever want to take up residence on a different platform.
You can also email me at [email protected] - no promises I'll be quick to respond though!
